I am not the best blogger...

Our new Home. (this was taken by the previous owners)
Sorry to my family and friends who actually look at this, and especially to the people who do not live in Utah, and depend on my posts for updates! Here is a a brief summary of the past few months. We bought and moved into a house in Springville last December. Logan is a typical (almost) 2 year old. He is sweet, funny, helpful, stubborn, and very energetic! He is quite the chatter box and will break in to dance spontaneously whenever he hears music. Brandon is graduating with his Bachelors in Business/Marketing this week from UVU. I still do hair part time (and always taking new clients if you know anyone, hint hint.) I am temporarily working at Zales very part time to fund a trip to Sweden, that my friend Hillary and went to last week. I am excited for life to calm down a bit with Brandon graduating.
The end of February I drank some radioactive iodine to kill my thyroid, it was to treat Grave's disease which I was diagnosed in January. I am doing pretty well, just be tested on medicine. Once the doctors get the medicine levels right I should feel close to normal. After I drank the iodine, I stayed in a hotel by myself for 4 days. It was pretty relaxing. I was able to read "The Hunger Games" and "Catching Fire" which I would recommend to anyone. And also watched the first 2 seasons of "Mad Men" which I am completely addicted to!
That about sums it up, I will try to do better!

We Finally Sold our House!

So for Labor Day weekend, we got to move into my parent's house. I know it sounds like we are stepping back in life, but our house closed faster then normal and we had no time to find something else. We are currently looking, but are most likely going to build. It is a 90 day process, so if we sign the first of October, then we should be in after Christmas. I am very grateful for all the family and friends who took time to help us move. I am also very grateful for my parents who are willing to put up with us for a few months.

Last week my whole family got together, (which almost never happens) and we got some family pics. Here are a few:

Here are all my siblings in order from oldest to youngest(me). Laurie, Suzy, Amy, Jason, Angie, and me. I have a huge cheezer, because they kept making me laugh!

Here are all my nieces and nephews, there are too many to name. All of them are here but one nephew. I think we have a pretty good looking bunch!

These are a couple of my favorites of Logan. He is in his stroller, because like most of the time he is being uncooperative.

Look how cute my little boy is!

So I tried to be awesome and blog all the time, but it is just not really me. Sorry for those family/friends of mine who like me to keep up on it. Life is pretty crazy. I am working 2 jobs right now and constantly entertaining a 7 month old. I will be quitting one of my jobs the end of this year and just focusing on hair. I am looking for new clients, so if you are interested or know any one, please have them call me. We have a website, please take a look:

I had Logan's pictures taken last week, here are a few:

JMac Realty - 801-722-5685 jsonjohnson@gmail.com

I would like to give a shout out to my brother Jason. He has a real estate company. He is always kicking butt and taking names in this market! Please give him a call if you need a realtor.
He also has a carpet cleaning business on the side. One of my friends who used him said that he got out stains that Chem-Dry could not even get out. Give him a call if you need any carpet cleaning.

Our Champ!

Brandon made this the other day to send to his brother on his mission. I thought it was pretty funny.

Blessings

I never knew how challenging life with a baby would be. After 26 hours of labor,C-section, not being able to breast-feed, acid reflux, I still can't get on here and tell you hard life is and how much sympathy I want. Its waking up every morning with that big grin looking up at you. Its how hard he clenches onto my hands while he is eating. It's all of his "stories" he tells me in the morning and evening. The way he just looks at Brandon with such admiration and so much more. I am so grateful that I am a mom and even though its only been 3 months, I can not imagine life without Logan!
